We operate a marketing and lead-generation platform that helps connect consumers with independent third-party attorneys and law firms (collectively, "Legal Professionals"). We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and using our Services does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us. Any attorney-client relationship is formed only between you and a Legal Professional if and when you choose to retain them.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information from third parties.

A. Information you provide

Depending on how you interact with us, you may provide:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address
• Case or request information: details you submit about your situation (for example, incident details, date/location, narrative description)
• Communications: messages you send us (email, chat, SMS), notes from calls, or other correspondence
• Firm and practice information: firm name, practice area, and the geographic area or state you provide
• Launch-list information: first and last name, email address, and any optional organization name you provide when you ask to receive Legatos launch updates
• Other information you choose to provide through forms or communications

Please do not submit sensitive information unless we explicitly request it. This includes (for example) Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account details, or detailed medical records.

B. Information collected automatically

4) How We Share Information

We may disclose information as follows:

A. With Legal Professionals (core purpose)

If you submit a legal-services request or inquiry through our Services, we may share the information you provide (such as your contact information and request details) with Legal Professionals so they can contact you about legal services.

Joining the Legatos launch list is not a legal-services request or inquiry. We do not share launch-list details with Legal Professionals for matching merely because you joined the list.

Important: Legal Professionals are independent third parties. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices and professional obligations. We are not responsible for how they handle information once received.

B. With service providers

We share information with vendors that help us run the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, CRM, communications providers, security tools). These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to perform services for us.

C. For advertising and analytics

We may share information (often device identifiers and usage data) with analytics and advertising partners to:

• measure marketing performance,
• understand site traffic and interactions,
• deliver and evaluate ads.

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send SMS messages related to your request or marketing (where permitted).

You can opt out by replying STOP (or by contacting us). Message and data rates may apply.

We do not send SMS marketing without your consent.

7) Calls and Call Recording

We may contact you by phone to follow up on your request.

We do not currently record calls. If we introduce call recording, we will give notice before any recording begins and obtain consent where the law of the relevant jurisdiction requires it.

8) Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Services and route requests,
• maintain business records,
• comply with legal obligations,
• resolve disputes and enforce agreements,
• maintain security and prevent fraud.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements.

Launch-list information is retained while we operate the launch list and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and no legal exception requires us to keep it. Deletion requests may be sent to the address in Section 15.

9) Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10) Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (and in many cases our Services are intended for users 18+). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11) Third-Party Links

Our Services may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing information.
